Responsibilities:
1. Participate in the development and implementation of communications/branding strategies for CATL in Sourth America
2. Preparing press releases and statements, preparing Q&A for interviews and drafting/polishing speeches for executives
3. Handling local media/KOL relations, implementing cooperation with local media/KOLs, and exploring new communication/branding resources and opportunities
4. Planning and organizing communication activities for trade fairs, events, exhibitions and conferences
5. Reviewing and polishing all English materials to be shared externally, including press releases, social media content, executive speeches, etc.
6. Supporting HQ PR work and coordinating with overseas subsidiaries
Requirements:
1. Education: bachelor's degree and above, majoring in communications, marketing, or journalism
2. Knowledge: media/communications/marketing; at least three years of working experience as a journalist in top-tier global media outlets; knowledge in automotive/battery industry a plus
3. Skill: good writing in English; good inter-personal communications skills
4. Language: native speaker of English, expert in Chinese language and culture
5. Others: work well with a multi-cultural and diverse workforce, able to work independently and under pressure, mature and resourceful
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Regular, predictable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
- Ability to move throughout offices, manufacturing facilities, and construction areas, including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25–50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting as required.
- Ability to work in varied environments, including offices, industrial, and construction settings.
- Willingness to travel to other job sites as business needs require.
