Service Parts Warehouse Picker Lead

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive team lead to support the daily operations of the Service Parts Picker Team. This individual will manage high-priority and international shipments, coordinate picker workflows, and ensure all shipping and documentation procedures meet company standards. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required. This position reports directly to the Parts Supervisor.
Position Responsibilities
- Process international shipments, including hazmat and export compliance
- Oversee time-sensitive company shipments to ensure timely delivery
- Support and manage pickers by:
- Assisting with part identification and location
- Answering picking and shipping questions
- Training on best practices to improve parts picked
- Keeping the team focused on top-priority orders
- Delegate storage rack organization and upkeep
- Verify shipment paperwork and readiness before release
- Manage the order fulfillment process:
- Ensure accurate part consumption from inventory
- Review order notes and tracking with orders
- Oversee creation and review of Sales Orders (U.S. and Canada)
- Step in to complete urgent or overflow picking tasks as needed
Position Qualifications
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or inventory setting
- Knowledge of international shipping and hazmat handling
- Strong understanding of order fulfillment processes and documentation
- Comfortable using ERP systems, preferably Genius
- Ability to train and mentor team members in a fast-paced environment
- Experience prioritizing tasks and managing workloads
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ideal Candidate will also have
- Experience with Genius or similar ERP systems
- Hazmat certification or prior international shipping experience
Physical Requirements
- The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
- May require duties performed in a warehouse or production setting, including loud noises.
- Work in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
