JOB SUMMARY:
As a Warranty Administrator, you will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and approving warranty claims to ensure timely reimbursement to the dealer network and service providers. This role requires a thorough understanding of warranty policies, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work closely with the dealer service staff to ensure proper documentation and claim accuracy. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in warranty administration within the automotive industry.
Responsibilities & Key Activities
- Process Warranty Claims: Review and approve dealer submitted warranty claims and escalate claim issues. Check each repair order against the vehicles service history to avoid duplicate claims. Review every warranty claim for proper completion, documentation, and accuracy according to the policies and procedures. Report any fraudulent warranty claims.
- Manage yearly warranty parts and labor increases submitted by dealer network and service providers.
- Documentation: Ensure all required paperwork for claims is accurate and complete.
- Compliance: Ensure dealers adhere to manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
- Communication: Serve as the point of contact between dealership personnel to resolve claim issues, platform access
- Auditing & Reporting: Assist with warranty audits and generate reports on claim status and warranty trends. Manage warranty submission metrics, such as claim submission time, cost per vin, and damage code use.
- Training & Support: Train and guide dealer staff on warranty documentation and procedures.

Position Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or technical training preferred. BA/BS is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in automotive warranty administration or related roles. Prior warranty administration experience is required.
- Strong understanding of manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to organize and track multiple claims.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills for interacting with dealer staff.
- Ability to handle large volumes of claims while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
VinFast Auto is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00/hr.
