The Fleet Operations - Logistics Manager is a key role within the Fleet Operations Organization. This role is the primary liaison between Fleet and Stellantis Corporate Logistics. It requires a solid understanding of Fleet’s unique customer needs and processes, and the ability to work directly with key large Fleet accounts and Fleet Management Companies. The Logistics Manager will coordinate with Corporate Logistics and associated areas to ensure Fleet vehicles are delivered in a timely manner.
Duties Include
- Customer relationship management -responding to Fleet Management Companies and key customer logistical inquiries.
- Vehicle Logistics - proactive monitoring of vehicles in transit to address aging or any holds
- Communication - Coordinate and lead meetings with internal logistics stakeholders
- In transit Repair - Working closely with Corporate In transit repair team to ensure Fleet units progressing through repair process and addressing any bottlenecks.
- Pool assignments - assign shipping locations for vehicles in the Fleet Pool Program.
- Reporting - publishing reports for key stakeholders; analyzing data to ensure timely deliveries
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3+ years of Customer Service and/or Logistics experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, macro’s, etc.)
- Must be detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excels in building positive working relationships
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics / Operations or a related field of study
- Experience within the automotive industry in an Operations role
- Strong communication skills in negotiations and conflict management
