Job Description
In this role, the team member will supervise and lead a small but mighty group responsible for the global warranty administration including supporting distributors, dealers, and internal stakeholders. The Supervisor will build strong customer relationships and ensure warranty resolutions are concluded in a manner that bolsters customer satisfaction. The Supervisor will be both a strategic and tactical leader for warranty, while creating, implementing, leading, and executing the company’s warranty strategy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day operations of Warranty Administration including setting strategies and providing oversight of team objectives and goals
- Accountable for proper adjudication of all warranty/goodwill claims and extended coverage registrations submitted to Allison by authorized Business Partners
- Responsible for Allison Transmission global warranty publications, websites, and training
- Support departmental goodwill forecasts and budget reporting
- Review and monitor Campaign activities
- Respond to various warranty related reporting inquiries
- Represent warranty interests to on various teams
- Adjudication of warranty claims in a timely manner
- Maintain and update all warranty publications
- Preparing reports and analysing data to assist management
- Lead, guide, and maintain performance targets for employees
- Acts in accordance with the corporate values and effectively measures and monitors other’s behaviours aligned with them, projects consistency
- Gathers firsthand customer information and uses for improvements in product/process/services
- Can pose different and future scenarios to create departmental strategy and change
- Can influence others, diffuse tensions and build constructive, compassionate relationships
Qualifications / Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
- High level of analytical ability and independency to set own objectives and goals
- 3-5 years professional experience in warranty administration or related field
- Supervisory experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical, efficient, and thorough
- Knowledge of IT Systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Products
- Preferred technical understanding of Allison Transmission products
