What does success look like?
The
Product Sales Specialist is responsible for introducing and executing sales product training for Monarch Tractor's offerings. This role involves leadership and hands-on coaching to customers, partners, and Regional Sales Managers. You’ll take a technical lead on regional sales issues, provide pre- and post-sales support, and support dealer training and user groups to ensure strategic goals are met.
What will make you successful?
- On-site distributor product training
- Develop distributor dealers’ knowledge of Monarch Tractor solutions
- Provide pre- and post-sale support and resolve customer questions/issues
- Participate in farm shows/events and offer in-depth product demonstrations
- Support new product releases and beta testing to align with dealer training needs
- Perform hands-on system and feature-related tests of farm machinery and document results
- Plan and manage field days, training events, dealer meetings, and customer visits
- Provide feedback on product development to ensure customer requirements are met
- Offer in-field engineering support, troubleshooting, and data collection
- Suggest design alternatives and support new features and tools development
- Transport and operate tractors and field test equipment as required
More Practical Skills Needed
- Experience with agricultural equipment and large machinery
- Associate’s degree with 3+ years of agricultural product experience or High School diploma with 5+ years of experience
- 2+ years of direct customer support for agriculture equipment
- Strong customer-facing skills & team-oriented mindset
- Experience with complex systems involving software, electronics, and mechanical components
- Bilingual preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 95% (field-based position)
- Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
Desired Background
- AS Degree in Agribusiness, Agronomy, Equipment Mechanization, or Ag Engineering, plus 5+ years in precision ag solutions, guidance, water management, and ag equipment sales (or equivalent experience)
- Technical proficiency in ag field and office software
Physical Requirements
- Push/pull up to 50 lbs, lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and use of hands
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors; noise levels may vary
Salary Range – ($60,000-$80,000)The salary range provided is applicable to employees based in California and may vary depending on the employee's region and location.
This is not a remote position.
