Responsibilities- Curriculum Development and Support:
- Proactively collaborate with Manufacturing Operations to identify training needs and develop targeted curriculum aligned with business objectives, goals and floor-level requirements.
- Creatively source and construct training fixtures and aids to enhance hands-on learning experiences.
- Training Delivery and Facilitation:
- Deliver engaging and effective instructor-led training sessions, applying adult learning principles to maximize participant comprehension and retention.
- Adapt training content and delivery methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, skill levels, and cultural backgrounds.
- Maintain current subject matter expertise in assigned content areas.
- Train-the-Trainer Program Management:
- Execute and manage the train-the-trainer certification program for facilitators.
- Lead train-the-trainer sessions and certify SWE Co-Facilitators (Team Leader role) to maintain an active bench of qualified trainers.
- Role Readiness and Evaluation:
- Develop and implement inclusive evaluation methods to certify team members as part of the overall Role Readiness strategy.
- Provide ongoing training and development support to ensure a problem-solving mindset is applied and effectively utilized.
- Program Scaling and Innovation:
- Scale training programs effectively by leveraging cutting-edge learning and development tools.
- Classroom Management and Collaboration:
- Maintain a harmonious and inclusive classroom environment by employing positive conflict resolution skills.
- Ensures that all participants understand and comply with EHS&S safety standards.
Qualifications- Manufacturing Technical Training Expertise:
- Proven experience in the development and delivery of technical training programs within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex manufacturing processes into effective learning modules.
- Educational Foundation:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Certification in Automotive Technology or related technical field.
- Alternatively, a demonstrable equivalent level of expertise gained through extensive work experience and industry-recognized certifications.
- Facilitation and Communication Skills:
- Exceptional facilitation skills with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, demonstrating a high level of emotional intelligence and adaptability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and concise delivery of information.
- Collaboration and Consultation:
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and serve as a trusted partner/consultant to the business.
- Experience working within a Learning and Talent Development team, contributing to broader organizational learning initiatives.

- Operational Requirements:
Pay DisclosureSalary Range for Normal, IL based applicants: $78,000 - $97,000 annually (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
