What To Expect
The Tesla Energy & Charging Software team builds and operates the software for Tesla’s Energy products, including Megapack, Powerwall, the Supercharger network, and grid services like Virtual Power Plants and Autobidder. As an integral member of the software team in the role of Program Manager, you will drive the execution of complex, cross-functional programs that power Tesla’s energy and charging ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of Software, you will partner with a passionate team of software engineers, product leaders, and senior leadership to deliver flagship energy software needed to expand the Supercharging network and rapidly grow utility-scale Megapack deployments. Your work will directly impact tens of millions of customers worldwide and accelerate the world’s transition to renewable energy at terawatt scale.
What You'll Do
Develop strategic software roadmaps and drive execution across days, quarters and yearsBring together engineering and product leaders to ensure we are aligned to execute on our most important initiatives while balancing competing prioritiesSynthesize inputs across teams into executive reviews highlighting risks and opportunities, successes and areas for improvementMaximize engineering team velocity by optimizing workflows, reducing team context switching and ensuring we are working on the most valuable projectsProvide project leadership, foster collaboration, bring together teams to solve critical problems and drive initiatives to completionEnable high velocity distributed decision making by driving alignment of strategic goalsHelp the team find the process that helps them the most for structured work and communication

Expected Compensation
$100,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
