What To Expect
Tesla operates the world’s largest electric vehicle Supercharger network. The past few years have been historic, but the Supercharger network’s rapid expansion in the years ahead are essential to accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
The Charging Operations Team is responsible for protecting and expanding the Supercharger network and other related business lines. The Contract Compliance Specialist is a key member of this Team and is responsible for the timely completion of lease negotiations, including extensions, expansions, and strategic planning to support the existing and rapid expansion of the Supercharger network portfolio in North America. You will collaborate with internal, cross-functional business partners including the Charging organization, Deployment, Service, SSD, Payments, Legal, Risk, Tax, and Leadership teams. In addition, you will work with a high volume of external business partners such as landlords, property managers, asset managers, and third-party consultants.
What You'll Do
Lead negotiations for a large flow of complex post lease execution issues for the Charging organization in support of long-term planningEffectively assess and communicate riskIntegrate data to develop an acute awareness of lease expirations, renewals, and other key factors that may impact the Supercharger NetworkDevelop and maintain relationships with external partners, including landlords, property managers, contractors, and Government AgenciesServe as the point of contact to resolve day-to-day Operations issues, including escalations, payment issues, contract interpretation, changes in ownership, lease renewals and terminationsContribute to a culture of trust, empathy, speed, and flexibility with internal and external business partners, and to the stability and rapid growth of the Supercharger network
What You'll Bring
4+ years of experience leading commercial real estate negotiations, or equivalent experienceRelentless attention to detail and strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate riskProven agility in a high-change environment, with the ability to pivot based on shifting prioritiesHigh-trust individual with the ability to sensitively handle confidential and proprietary information

Expected Compensation
$64,000 - $120,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
