Role SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and proactive Project Manager to act as the central coordinator and operator of the Bay and Lift Rental program, a partnership, multi-disciplinary project that will require attention to detail and strong collaboration with both internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will synchronize various teams and components to fulfill program requirements and continue growing the network.
As the owner of the Bay and Lift Rental program, you will support the program by locating, vetting, and onboarding 3rd party facilities used by Rivian Mobile Service Technicians to repair vehicles throughout North America and Europe. This role will require exceptional cross-functional interaction and sharp attention to detail. Additionally, this individual must be flexible,
dependable, organized, proactive in initiating continuous improvement, and able to prioritize strategically. This role will require creativity to solve new types of partnerships to expand Rivian’s Mobile Service coverage, superb communication skills and will focus on execution and seeing projects through to completion from beginning to end.
Responsibilities- Execute based on Service department requirements and needs for new partnerships to guarantee Rivian technicians are able to systematically rent workspace as needed. For example, 3 rd party shops, parking lots, etc.
- Assist with strategizing and execute on new partnerships enabling efficient, effective, and expansive Mobile Service Coverage
- Coordinate cross functionally to ensure a seamless repair experience for both Rivian technicians and customers, including creating processes for new contracts, booking space and payment to suppliers.
- Coordinate with key 3 rd party suppliers to integrate into Rivian’s internal service and scheduling systems.
- Support formalization of program documentation, standards, training and building blocks
- Act as a liaison between cross-functional partners and field service teams to collect feedback, identify opportunities for improvements, and lead initiatives for continuous improvement of system tools and workflows
- Create, articulate, and execute on project plan through all stages of the project lifecycle, inclusive of gathering stakeholder feedback and buy-in, creating project documentation, and implementation
- Identify and work through obstacles in a collaborative environment
- Build a roadmap for both network expansion and new partners to help bring more abilities to the service team through outsourcing and 3rd party support
Qualifications- 1-2 years’ experience in project management, equivalent work experience in Operations or related field
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Willingness to adapt to a dynamic business environment
- Outside the box problem solving
- Execution focused
- Ability to drive cross-functional projects to completion
- Strong leadership, empathetic communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work with an adventurous spirit, challenge standards and in using analytics to solution
- Ability to understand and communicate needs of all stakeholders
- Excellent documentation and project tracking skills
Pay DisclosureSalary Range/Hourly Rate for (Non-San Francisco) California Based Applicants: $33.29-$36.99 hourly rate (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
