About The Opportunity
The Physical Security Team Manager at BlueOval SK will contribute to the overall physical security of BlueOval SK facilities and assets including site risk assessments, and management of physical security systems such as cameras, security alarms, access control, and lighting.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Lead and mentor a team of physical security specialists and other security personnel.
- Develop and implement advanced security strategies and policies including data leak prevention measures for BOSK.
- Oversee large-scale security projects, including budget management and timeline adherence.
- Conduct complex security risk and threat assessments and develop mitigation strategies for high-level scenarios.
- Collaborate with senior management, external agencies, and other stakeholders on security matters.
- Lead the response to significant security incidents and conduct thorough investigations using various tools i.e., CCTV/access control/ other data sources.
- Physical security control, ensuring that all employees, contractors and visitors are safe
- Lead the implementation of security and threat management to support the safety and well-being of employees and physical assets
- Manage Security Guard contract establishment and management
- Complete complex documentation/report writing (i.e., RFPs, Policies, Procedures, etc.)
- Foster relationships with related agencies and stakeholders
- Conduct physical security and risk vulnerability inspections, evaluate and provide recommendations to senior/executive management
- Review facilities designs regarding where sensitive materials are located
- Develop and evaluate existing security procedures including data leak prevention measures
- Manage overall physical security process management
- Guardhouse management
- Manage penetration testing program
- Interview and recommend hiring of Physical Security Specialists as necessary
Minimum Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience working in factory/distribution center security or similar industry-based environment
- Experience with Camera and Access Control systems
- Experience managing security teams
- The ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders
- Familiarization with multiple aspects of physical security
- In-depth knowledge of physical security principles, emerging threats, and advanced security technologies.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Capability to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies.
- Extensive experience in physical security with a background in law enforcement or military preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of the organization.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in related field preferred
- Security-based certification a plus (i.e., Wicklander-Zulawski, CPP, PSP, CISSP)
- Security Experience in Electric Vehicle Battery Manufacturing a plus
