Tesla’s Energy & Charging Services organization operates and maintains deployed assets including North American commercial solar, global behind-the-meter & front-of-meter storage, and global electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The mission of the organization is to maximize fleet health and delight our customers while minimizing the cost of maintaining the fleet.
The successful candidate must have the ability to meet tight deadlines, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be detail oriented, and be able to work independently. Candidate must establish and maintain a professional working relationship with line supervisors, operators, and manufacturing engineering.
What You'll Do
Provide daily inspections and complete documentation including daily reports documenting contractor labor, equipment, daily construction progress, project site visitors, non-conforming work, safety issues, traffic control, field measured quantiles, field discussions with the contractor and public, and daily project photographs, labor compliance interviews and etc.Review primary information from Commercial Field Service visits including technician documentation, system performance, and site observationsCoordinate with clients/owners, other consultants, contractors, materials testers and others involved with the projectRead and interpret Standard Specifications, Standard plans, project plans and specificationsMonitor construction for compliance with project documents including collecting and checking material tags and certificates of complianceCommunicate with project team members and provide recommendations
What You'll Bring
Ability to independently make decisions, prioritize workflows according to multiple criteria, and solve problems with limited directionAn eye for detail and a proven ability to anticipate operational challenges with minimal informationExperience working on Tesla Megapack products at utility scale sites and an understanding of site construction requirements to enable serviceabilityFluent with common Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to travel to numerous sites daily and travel up to 2 weeks at a time with short notice to domestic and international locations
