Senior Director of Product Management – Fleet & Telematics
As Product Manager for Fleet and Vehicle Telematics North America, you will be responsible for defining the software products and features that are necessary for owners and operators of vehicles and chargers to monitor, configure, use and earn in fleet (B2B) segments. Key words are vehicle telematics, CMS (Charger mngt), EMS (Energy mngt), access control, invoicing and pricing. Fleet segments include; Transit, School busses, logistics and last mile, vocational fleets such as construction, fire and police and many more.
This exciting role involves collaborating with Customers, Sales, Customer Support, your fellow Product Managers, and Engineering to maintain and expand ChargePoint’s leadership. You will be responsible for all CPO Fleet customers in North America. You will work very closely together with the Product Manager for EMS and the Product Manager for EMSPs (e-Mobility Service Provider), and together you will define how in the future millions of B2B customers will be able to use Chargers for their workfleets.
In this role, you will
- Work with the commercial and technical teams to define what needs to be build in which order for Vehicle Telematics and Fleet
- Work with fellow product managers to define requirements for the total Fleet product
- Work with customers to address their issues, agree commercial terms for new developments and see what they need
Qualifications & Experience
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree is a plus
- MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus
- 8+ years of experience in software product management and a track record of successfully delivering complex projects in cross-functional environments
- Demonstrated commercial and technical acumen with a track record in delivering global products and understanding of local and regional differences.
- Experienced at meeting with customers and partners, internal and external, to understand market requirements and translating them into technical requirements for engineering teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the Electric Vehicle space is a plus
- Experience in hybrid hardware/software environments, and IOT devices, is a plus
- Ability to travel to understand customer requirements in all regions
- Passionate about ChargePoint and our mission
- Language: English
- We offer flexible working hours, with some hours required in EU timezone per week and some days at the office

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $85,000 to $215,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
