We are seeking an experienced Sales Operations Manager to drive alignment, efficiency and impact across all BD efforts and serve as the central orchestrator of our initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
Lead program management for business development initiatives.
Foster seamless collaboration between business development and account management teams.
Implement dealer engagement strategies to improve seller adoption and success.
Define key performance metrics and generate reports to track and enhance dealer success.
Align business development strategies with broader company goals through cross-functional collaboration.
Optimize business development processes using data and insights.
Drive initiatives to improve marketplace liquidity and dealer retention.
Analyze and improve sales processes, focusing on defect reduction and productivity.
Communicate findings effectively and recommend improvements.
Identify root causes of problems and develop solutions to mitigate them.
Model and simulate business process improvements through 'what if' scenarios.
Support annual planning activities with actionable insights.
A day in the life
This role will play a critical part in scaling and expanding our program. Initially, this role will work to create a mechanism to ensure we are prioritizing the right dealers to optimize BD efforts across all regions and define KPIs for dealer acquisition and engagement. As the program evolves, this role will focus on building scalable processes and playbooks like creating business development playbook starting from lead generation and vetting to onboarding. An ideal candidate is analytical, autonomous, and cross functionally collaborative with effective communication skills.

We’re collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for products in the complex automotive space.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- Experience presenting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
