About Our Opportunity:
As an IT Procurement Specialist, you’ll act as a centralized resource for IT Procurement working within corporate technology platforms and oversee IT documentation and SOP creation. You will play an important role in reviewing IT invoices and contracts, as well as handling IT procurement. You’ll also closely collaborate with the IT Service Desk to guarantee prompt and efficient support for Valenz staff, ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner.
Things You’ll Do Here:
- Assist with full cycle IT hardware and software procurement
- Maintain documentation of purchase orders, review invoices for accuracy, and maintain tracking documentation
- Process all IT invoices for approval in accounting platforms, including expense reconciliation
- Utilize internal ticketing platform to monitor and handle IT procurement requests submitted by Valenz users
- Maintain inventory stock levels remotely for Valenz’ physical office spaces
- Maintain and manage software license inventory for Valenz users
- Manage new user experience through completing hardware/software ticket requests and being the IT main point of contact during the onboarding lifecycle with the new hire and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with Human Resources on user offboardings to recover company IT assets including tracking the status and assisting with shipping logistics
- Oversee IT contracts, ensuring compliance, and managing renewals
- Identify opportunities to reduce IT procurement costs while maintaining quality and service levels
- Maintain vendor relationships through cadence calls and track vendor information for internal stakeholders, including spend, renewal periods, cost savings, etc
- Create, update, and maintain IT procurement documentation and standard operating procedures including periodic review for compliance purposes

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 3+ years of experience in IT Procurement or a related business discipline, with a focus on supporting remote staff
- Proficient knowledge of the IT procurement life cycle
- Experience working with carrier platforms such as FedEx and UPS
- Proficiency in Microsoft licensing and purchasing best practices
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of successful stakeholder management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detailed, deadline-driven environment
A plus if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, IT or similar
