The Role:
As we continue to expand our EV infrastructure services, we are seeking a highly skilled Director, EV Infrastructure Services, to lead and oversee all aspects of our EV infrastructure services client delivery. This role will report directly to the COO and work closely with our CEO and operations leaders. The role will be important in helping to helping shape our EV infrastructure services strategy. The role will be responsible for leading the assessment of potential new client services opportunities in EV infrastructure, and developing services models and structures to achieve high quality outcomes for clients. The Director, EV Infrastructure Services, will collaborate with internal & external key stakeholders to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and effectively, and will ensure the success of EV infrastructure services clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical vehicle infrastructure, with an understanding of and relationships with different L2 and L3 charger OEM’s, an understanding of all aspects of EV infrastructure and maintenance, knowledge of equipment warranties, LCFS credits, and an understanding of the EV market. The candidate will have strong client relationship and service skills, with the ability to develop contract statements of work, pricing and more as it relates to client engagements. Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the EV infrastructure services in alignment with the company's goals and vision.
- Oversee and manage EV infrastructure services projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting the highest quality standards.
- Manage efficiency of current EV infrastructure services and troubleshoot issues ensuring high reliability of all client EV assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution and successful implementation.
- Conduct Request for Proposals (RFPs) and vet potential contractors to partner with Hallcon on the delivery of EV infrastructure services projects.
- Plan and budget for EV infrastructure services projects, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of the EV market trends and industry developments to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide regular progress reports and project updates to the COO, CEO and VP of Operations and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in EV infrastructure services projects.
- Provide guidance on site layouts and infrastructure design to third party contractors.
- Travel to sites to assess EV infrastructure and viability for charging infrastructure services deployments.
- Develop and manage pipeline of potential new EV infrastructure services in conjunction with the sales team.
- Lead efforts to obtain all necessary approvals from utilities and permitting authorities as needed.
- Work closely with installation key stakeholders to assess and manage EV infrastructure installation costs and timeline of execution as needed
- Foster strong relationships with clients, external partners, charger OEM’s, stakeholders, and government agencies involved in EV infrastructure projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience with technical knowledge of EV infrastructure planning, design and services.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in EV infrastructure services, including project management, client relationship management, and service delivery.
- Experience in contracts, real estate, utility planning, charging infrastructure, EV infrastructure policy, and local permitting preferred.
- In-depth understanding of the electric vehicle market and space, including charging technologies, infrastructure requirements, and industry trends.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A strategic mindset with a forward-thinking approach to drive continuous improvement and innovation in EV infrastructure services projects.
