Work Arrangement
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Global Technical Center, Warren MI, three times per week, at minimum.
The Role
GM North America FP&A is looking for a highly motivated Sr Financial Analyst to be part of a truly collaborative and results driven team. This role offers a unique blend of responsibilities to support the monthly build-up of North America’s P&L, EV profitability projects and product line profitability for short and long-term deliverables. This analyst will coordinate with US SSM, GPSC and CFP&A and support GMNA senior leadership in managing our ICE and EV portfolio profitability and related strategic initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate with US SSM and GPSC team to build run-rate monthly forecast for gross revenue and material costs
- Present key analysis, financial impact as well as risks and opportunities from the monthly run rates to the GMNA FP&A, GPSC and US SSM leadership
- Build robust understanding of vehicle product line profitability (PLP) segment profit allocations across our ICE and EV portfolio
- Coordinate financial reporting and analysis to support GM-Honda JV Supply Agreement, partnering with GPD, Product Costing, GBS, IT/systems and Controllership teams and presenting results to leadership
- Engage with regions/functions/program teams to understand key drivers behind the financials impacting PLPs with a focus on gross revenue and material cost
- For Budget, support line of business reporting on EV vs ICE profitability, profit by country/line of business, and gap to external commitments

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field
- 3+ years of related experience
- Fluent in financial principles and financial analysis
- Data Analysis, financial modeling skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Hyperion/Retrieve Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
