EV Charging Station Operations Lead: Powering the Future of Transportation

Key Responsibilities:
EV Driver Support & Technical Troubleshooting
- Provide hands-on assistance to electric truck drivers with charging station operation
- Solve technical issues and educate drivers on mobile app features and reservation systems
- Ensure seamless charging experiences for all electric vehicle users
Electric Charging Infrastructure Management
- Monitor and maintain high-powered electric vehicle charging equipment
- Document and report technical issues through Salesforce
- Coordinate with headquarters and technical teams for complex problem resolution
Preventative Maintenance & Equipment Repair
- Oversee charging station maintenance scheduling and vendor management
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Facilitate timely repairs to maximize charging station uptime
Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance
- Enforce comprehensive safety protocols for electric vehicle charging operations
- Conduct regular safety inspections of all charging equipment and facilities
- Maintain secure charging environment for drivers and fleet operators
Inventory Control & Warranty Management
- Track EV charging components and spare parts inventory
- Process warranty replacements for charging equipment
- Maintain accurate digital records of all maintenance activities
Fleet Management Support
- Provide dedicated assistance to electric truck fleet managers
- Maintain professional office spaces for fleet operations
- Support daily operational needs of commercial EV fleets
Charging Station Facilities Management
- Ensure cleanliness and professional appearance of charging facility
- Oversee amenities including refreshment services and driver conveniences
- Coordinate with cleaning and maintenance service providers
Customer Experience Optimization
- Gather feedback from electric vehicle drivers to improve services
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions
- Recommend enhancements to management for improved driver satisfaction
Emergency Response Leadership
- Serve as first responder during charging station emergencies
- Coordinate with local authorities and internal teams during incidents
- Implement safety protocols to protect drivers and equipment
Operational Excellence & Performance Improvement
- Analyze charging station metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Implement process enhancements for better efficiency and cost savings
- Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of charging operations
Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience
- Customer service or operations management experience with strong focus on client satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with EV drivers and stakeholders
- Technical aptitude for understanding electric vehicle charging systems
- Knowledge of safety protocols and facility management
- Experience coordinating with vendors and maintenance contractors
- Problem-solving abilities with minimal supervision in fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Detail-oriented approach to maintenance and operations
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
- Eligibility to work in the United States and 18+ years of age
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in electric vehicle industry or transportation sector
- Background in equipment maintenance and technical troubleshooting

- On-site position at electric vehicle charging facility in Colton
- Comfortable working in outdoor environment with hands-on responsibilities
- Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings as needed for 24/7 charging operations
