Role Overview:
As the frontline expert, this role is all about keeping the charging experience seamless and efficient at our brand-new Colton Flagship location. You'll be the go-to problem solver for electric truck drivers, ensuring smooth operations, troubleshooting issues, and managing station performance. From overseeing maintenance and enforcing safety protocols to optimizing inventory and enhancing customer experience, you'll play a key role in creating a top-tier charging environment. You'll also support fleet managers, maintain site facilities, and drive continuous improvement.
What You Will Drive at Greenlane:
- Driver Assistance & Troubleshooting – Help drivers start/stop charging, troubleshoot issues, and educate them on reservation systems and app features.
- Charging Station Management – Oversee station functionality, report issues in Salesforce, and coordinate with HQ/tech teams for escalations.
- On-Site Maintenance & Repairs – Supervise equipment repairs, ensure vendor compliance, and facilitate timely maintenance.
- Health, Safety & Security Compliance – Enforce HSSE policies, conduct safety checks, prevent loitering, and coordinate with security.
- Inventory & Cost Management – Track spare parts, warranty replacements, and expenditures while maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.
- Fleet & Member Support – Maintain fleet manager office spaces and provide direct support for operational needs.
- Facilities Oversight – Manage cleaning services, ensure site cleanliness, and oversee amenities like vending and coffee.
- Customer Experience & Feedback – Gather driver insights, report operational concerns, and suggest improvements to management.
- Emergency Response Coordination – Act as the on-site lead during emergencies, liaising with authorities and internal teams.
- Operational Efficiency & Site Optimization – Continuously assess and implement process improvements for better performance and cost savings.
Requirements
- Experience in customer service, operations, or facilities management, with a customer-first mentality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with drivers, fleet managers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Basic technical knowledge related to EV charging stations or willingness to undergo training.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and site management.
- Experience managing vendors and maintenance work.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot on-site issues with minimal supervision.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently and calmly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and ability/willingness to travel locally if necessary.
- Must be over 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the electric vehicle or transportation industry.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair processes.
- Familiarity with HSSE standards and emergency preparedness protocols.
Work Environment:
- This role requires on-site presence at the charging facility.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and in a hands-on capacity.
- Must be available to work weekends and evenings as necessary.
