Ø Review HW EE design for different sample phase, e.g. schematic design, PCB layout, measurement concept, KL30 input circuit, current consumption/efficiency, component selection, simulation & analysis results check etc. Ø Ensure design compliance of standards, oversee and local regulations, LAH Ø Manage 2D and 3D drawings in KVS, including uploading, version control, drawing quality check etc. Ø Lead DV & PV EE issue trouble shooting, including analysis, root cause finding, countermeasure definition and verification, supplier 8D report review, lesson learnt summary etc. Ø Track and review DFMEA reports from suppliers Ø Work closely with mechanical engineer, SW engineer, battery systems, safety, and validation teams etc. to ensure the design meets all functional, electrical, and safety requirements (e.g., creepage/clearance, isolation, HV safety). Ø Report to EE BTVs, technical project lead and team managers.
Profile Ø Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field Ø 5+ years of professional experience in hardware design and development
Ø Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principles. Ø Expertise in schematic capture and PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer is highly desirable, Cadence, OrCAD, Mentor PADS). Ø Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc. Ø Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN etc) Ø High self-motivation and ability to identify tasks, execute with minimal supervision and own assignments to ensure goals are met Ø Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English, German is a plus.
