Job Description
Honeywell is seeking a Director of Business Deployment and Readiness to lead organizational change for businesses and teams preparing to move to S/4HANA. This leader will be the primary OCM partner to the lead Strategic Business Group and to specific business teams in active deployment waves.
The Director will connect program plans to the reality of daily work: who is affected, how work changes, what employees need to learn, whether leaders and users are ready, and what support they need after go-live. The role will direct the deployment work performed by TCS and business change leads, using the enterprise OCM standards while adapting execution to each business.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
- Build and execute an integrated OCM plan for each assigned deployment, aligned with process design, data migration, testing, cutover, and go-live milestones.
- Partner with SBG and business leaders, functional process owners, site leaders, and people managers to identify stakeholders, understand change impacts, and assign owners for business actions.
- Translate process and system changes into specific changes in roles, responsibilities, controls, skills, and daily activities. Maintain a prioritized impact assessment and use it to shape communications, training, and support.
- Establish and support a business change network, including change leads, champions, and super users. Equip leaders and managers to engage their teams and address resistance.
- Own the business readiness assessment and recommendation for assigned deployments. Present evidence, unresolved risks, mitigations, and required leadership decisions at readiness reviews.
- Partner with the training and learning teams and TCS to define role-based learning needs, validate training content with process owners, coordinate delivery, and assess proficiency. Ensure business teams have time and support to participate.
- Coordinate the business participation needed for UAT with the designated test owner. Help select representative users, prepare them for participation, collect usability and process feedback, and translate findings into training or readiness actions.
- Lead the OCM portion of hypercare and transition to business ownership, including reinforcement plans, adoption barriers, and follow-up with accountable leaders.
- Direct and review TCS deployment OCM deliverables, ensuring that business leaders validate the content and retain ownership of adoption outcomes.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Significant experience delivering organizational change for major business process, ERP, or enterprise technology deployments.
- Demonstrated success working directly with business leaders, frontline teams, and cross-functional program teams to assess impacts and achieve readiness.
- Experience with change networks, role-based training, readiness assessments, and go-live or hypercare support.
- Strong judgment in identifying risks, facilitating decisions, and escalating issues with clear recommendations.
WE VALUE
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or large-scale ERP deployment.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, finance, commercial, or other operational functions across multiple sites or businesses.
- Familiarity with Prosci, ADKAR, or a comparable change methodology.
The successful candidate is comfortable in the field with business teams and credible in a program leadership review. This is a business deployment and adoption role that requires effective partnership with IT, rather than technical ownership of the SAP solution.
