What To Expect
The Residential Energy team is responsible for the sale and deployment of all home energy technologies: Powerwall (battery storage), solar, and home charging. We are seeking a high-performance cross-functional program leader for the home charging business – this individual will be responsible for driving global business performance, setting and achieving KPIs, launching new offerings and products, etc. This role will involve close collaboration with both Energy and Motors executive leadership.
What You'll Do
Establish clear targets for the business in conjunction with leadership direction and operational parameters. Maintain alignment across the business on strategy and goalsOwn performance to overall business goals – including sales, growth, and customer satisfaction. Set action plans and communicate clearly across teams to achieve targets. Track tasks, milestones, deliverables and hold other teams accountable to progress. Manage cross-functional program reviews and communication across all stakeholders internally. Proactively identify major risks to program performance and develop / propose strategies to mitigateLeverage insights from customer and market data to analyze Tesla’s position, market share, competitor products, pricing, customer sentiment and success – help identify pain points and opportunities and create and implement plans to addressDevelop new commercial offerings (e.g. bundling, financing, etc.). Support the success of new hardware / software product launches working closely with Engineering, New Product Introduction / Launch, Finance, Marketing, etc. Forge new partnerships and support/expand existing channel relationships in collaboration with sales and business development teamsCollaborate with analytics/data functions to put in place the necessary tools to track performance to program KPIs, ensure dissemination of reporting to various audiences is timely and relevant
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or related background7+ years of work experience in business operations, program management, product management, management consulting, finance and/or other related fieldsCharging or Energy industry experience strongly preferredExtremely organized and comfortable managing a high degree of complexity, and embraces change and rapid pace of workFluency with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, organizational tools (Confluence, JIRA) requiredStrong interpersonal skills; ability to interface with and influence multiple teams at various levels of the organizationStructured communication: ability to present to executive team both in visual and verbal means

Expected Compensation
$100,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
