Job Summary
Lead the efforts of ITEC’s Application Engineering team.
Provide technical support for customers, ITEC’s Customer Service and Engineering groups.
Job Duties
- Develop & maintain a proficient level of ITEC product and application knowledge.
- Provide technical training to clients or internal users.
- Train Application Engineers to ensure that they can work independently with customers’ engineering groups.
- Monitor and Mentor Application Engineers.
- Train Sales Representatives and visit target customers to assist Sales Reps with product approvals.
- Analyze & interpret customer requirements to help provide accurate quotations & ensure profitable growth.
- Communicate with Channel Partners, MPS Sales Channels, ITEC Engineering, & ITEC Quality Departments.
- Support industry events and technical conferences as needed.
- Gather competitive information to assist Product Management with future product roadmaps.
- Assist Quality with customer issues and concerns.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure organizational and or client requirements are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Education
- Experience in utility metering or relaying applications is preferred.
- BS in Electrical Engineering, or Power Engineering Experience.
- Experience with electric utility or electrical equipment manufacturer in the power utility space.
