What To Expect
The IT Field Support team is the face of Tesla IT and acts as the primary contact for our employees. This role will work closely with our user base and various IT staff to coordinate multiple projects, ensure day-to-day incidents are quickly addressed, and handle outages related to network infrastructure. The position requires onsite troubleshooting with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for technology and experience in a fast-paced corporate environment. We are flexible on location, as this position requires frequent travel. Living near a major airport is important to facilitate travel to Tesla's remote sites across North America.
What You'll Do
Deploy and support various endpoint systems which include desktop/laptop hardware, POS terminals, tablets, digital signage, printers, scanners, and telephony devicesRespond to requests and incidents from our employees dailyProactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability in our remote environmentsDiagnose site network infrastructure issues and address in advance of service disruptionsWork closely with multiple IT Operations teams to resolve issues and deploy equipment into the production environmentUnderstanding project requirements and developing project plans to deliver on time through collaboration with different teams within TeslaSome planned travel to and from remote sites across regions, with occasional short-notice travel required
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Networking, Information Systems, or equivalent experienceMinimum of five years' experience with desktop (Windows, macOS, & Linux), infrastructure, network, and software supportSupport experience with IPSec, SD-WAN, fiber, coaxial, and Cellular modem networks with the ability to log level 1 technical support tickets with service providersExcellent understanding of networking components and technologies, including routers, firewalls, switches, access points, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, ARP, OSI modelExperience with Active Directory, JAMF, SCCM, Azure and Windows server environmentsExperience in supporting Apple and Android mobile devices along with Intune MDMPowerShell or Python experience is a plus

Expected Compensation
$29.60 - $58.80/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
