What To Expect
As a Sustaining Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing construction projects within our manufacturing facility, ensuring the upkeep, expansion, and improvement of our factory infrastructure. The Sustaining Construction Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency, complying with process and safety standards, and executing improvements without impacting production.
What You'll Do
Plan, coordinate, and execute multiple construction projects within the factory, ensuring timely completion and budget accuracyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverablesPlan and execute major repairs of existing factory structures, equipment, and infrastructureEnsure all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standardsDevelop and manage project budgets, providing accurate cost estimates and monitoring expenses throughout the project lifecycleCollaborate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to source materials and servicesIdentify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and sustainability
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience4 years of experience in construction project management within manufacturing, clean room, or industrial environmentsMulti disciplined (CSA/MEP) knowledge with a strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standardsExcellent leadership and communication skillsProficient in project management software and toolsAbility to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing priorities
