Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the quarterly prepayment declaration of individual income tax, annual final settlement, and social security compliance adjustments for expatriate personnel;
2. Accurately calculate the Hungarian taxable income corresponding to global compensation, maintain employee tax records, and track residency days to determine tax residency status;
3. Handling complex cases such as cross-border tax credits, the application of bilateral tax treaties, and family tax benefits;
4. Provide one-on-one tax policy interpretation and planning advice for expatriate employees to address tax audits;
5. Continuously monitor changes in Hungarian tax laws and social security policies, maintain a risk case database, and update compliance checklists;
6. Maintain regular communication with the tax authorities regarding the tax-related matters of expatriate employees.
Job Requirements:
1. Academic Background: Priority will be given to majors such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, etc;
2. Knowledge and Skills: Proficient in Hungarian individual income tax, social insurance, tax residency rules, and major bilateral tax treaties;
3. Be familiar with the Hungarian tax authority's electronic filing system and online platform operations;
4. Work Experience: Hold a Hungarian tax consultant/tax specialist qualification, with over 5 years of practical experience in Hungarian individual income tax and 2-3 years of experience in serving expatriates from multinational corporations;
5. Candidates with experience in top four or renowned tax agencies will be prioritized; those familiar with tax handling for Chinese expatriate employees will be given preference; proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage;
6. Proficient in Hungarian as a working language and fluent in English.
