Job Summary
Autel Europe is seeking a proactive and commercially driven Business Development Consultant to support the growth of Autel's Smart Energy business across the Nordic region, with a focus on EV charging infrastructure and related energy solutions.
Based in Sweden, Norway, Denmark or Finland, this role combines business development, solution sales, key account management, channel development, project coordination and customer success. The Business Development Consultant will identify new business opportunities, build relationships with customers and partners, support commercial negotiations, and follow customer commitments from opportunity development through delivery, revenue realization and long-term account growth.
Organization Position
This is a senior individual contributor role. The position works collaboratively across Sales, Product Management, Technical Support, Marketing and Project Delivery functions. It does not include direct people management or regional P&L responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the wider Nordic region in the EV charging, smart energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, channel partners, CPOs, EPCs, utilities, distributors, installation partners and other stakeholders across the Nordic EV charging ecosystem.
- Develop and manage sales pipelines, customer opportunities and local market development activities.
- Understand customer needs, business models, investment plans and operational requirements, and translate them into suitable commercial solutions.
- Support proposals, solution presentations, tenders, negotiations and contract discussions, including recommending suitable AC and DC charging solutions.
- Coordinate with Product, Technical Support, Marketing, Engineering, Service, Logistics, Finance and Project Delivery teams to support customer solutions and project execution.
- Support the fulfilment process from Purchase Order through delivery, installation, go-live, customer acceptance and operational follow-up.
- Assist with customer onboarding, training, service coordination, maintenance alignment and long-term customer success.
- Support invoicing, payment milestone tracking, receivables follow-up and commercial risk management where required.
- Monitor Nordic market trends, competitor activities, customer investments, regulatory developments and new business opportunities.
- Provide structured customer and market feedback to regional leadership, Product Management and Headquarters.
- Represent Autel in customer meetings, partner visits, exhibitions, conferences and industry events.

Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, channel management, project coordination or a customer-facing commercial role.
- Experience in EV charging infrastructure is strongly preferred; relevant experience in energy, electrical infrastructure, renewable energy, utilities, mobility, transportation, industrial automation, capital equipment or automotive aftermarket is also welcome.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with distributors, installation partners, EPCs, utilities, fleet operators, CPOs or strategic enterprise customers is an advantage.
- Strong commercial understanding and the ability to develop customer-oriented solutions.
- A basic technical understanding of electrical infrastructure, energy systems or EV charging solutions is preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in an international environment.
- Fluent English and native or fluent proficiency in at least one Nordic market language (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish) are required. Mandarin Chinese is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the Nordic region and occasionally across Europe.
