What To Expect
The Operational Lead, Rental Process & Management Systems is responsible for defining and refining the rental process at Tesla, directly informing the product roadmap for rental-related initiatives. This role acts as a critical liaison between end-users and product development teams, ensuring that user needs and technical solutions align to drive a seamless rental experience.
This role can sit out of Fremont, CA or Austin, TX.
What You'll Do
Define and document the end-to-end rental process at Tesla, identifying key touchpoints and user requirementsTranslate user needs and feedback into actionable inputs for the product roadmap to enhance rental systems and toolsDevelop and present business cases to justify new product features, aligning with strategic business goals and user benefitsCultivate and manage strategic relationships with insurance providers to establish and scale direct billing capabilities for Tesla’s rental programPartner with Learning & Development teams to design and deliver targeted field training programs, close knowledge gaps in rental processes, and develop scalable resources to support program adoption and complianceCollaborate with product development teams to prioritize features and ensure alignment with business objectivesMonitor and report on project progress, metrics of success for implementation, and identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to stakeholders
What You'll Bring
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for documentation and presentationsBachelor's in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience Strong understanding of IT project management principles and familiarity with agile development methodologiesExperience with project management tools such as Jira for tracking tasks and managing workflowsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills to bridge user and technical teamsAbility to analyze complex processes and translate them into clear, actionable technical requirementsExperience with user experience (UX) design or user feedback integration is a plus

Expected Compensation
$88,000 - $132,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
