Key Responsibilities
1.Lead on-site containment and resolution of quality issues for KD vehicle parts at Malaysia plants; coordinate with Malaysia plants and manage the IQC team’s on-site operations.
2.Serve as the key interface for quality issues related to KD models in Malaysia plants; drive supplier root-cause improvement through the Chinese-HQ SQE team.
3.Support pre-selection and nomination of localized suppliers in Malaysia.
4.Lead APQP for localized Malaysia suppliers’ parts, including PV validation and PPAP approval.
5.Improve mass-production quality management for Malaysia suppliers, ensuring part consistency and process stability.
6.Drive corrective actions for aftersales/warranty quality issues with localized suppliers in Malaysia.
Qualifications
1.Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
2.5+ years of experience in supplier quality management. Strong knowledge of APQP development process for new vehicle programs, including process management methods and key control points.
3.Familiar with IATF 16949 and/or VDA 6.3; experienced in supplier quality system audits.
4.Proficient in QC tools; skilled in 8D problem-solving and 5-Why analysis.
5.Strong communication and coordination skills; able to use either Malay + Chinese or English + Chinese as working languages (spoken communication required).
