The Senior AI Project Manager is responsible for directly managing and coordinating highly complex, high-difficulty, and large-scale AI projects, while driving the establishment of AI project management processes and governance standards across the organization. In this role, you will act as a strategic bridge between Executive Leadership (C-level), clients, and technical teams to ensure that all AI initiatives deliver clear, measurable business value.
• Project Governance & Portfolio Management
- High-Stakes Management: Directly manage or provide expert consultation to other PMs on managing highly complex AI projects.
- Portfolio & ROI Governance: Oversee the AI project portfolio, manage cross-functional priorities, and continuously track project KPIs and Return on Investment (ROI).
- Process Engineering: Establish deployment methodologies, delivery framework standards, and rigorous governance workflows tailored for AI initiatives.
• Strategic Risk & Stakeholder Management
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify, assess, and manage strategic risks and compliance requirements unique to AI data and systems.
- Executive Communication: Act as the leadership representative to communicate project progress and deliver high-level reports directly to the Board of Directors and executive stakeholders.
• Team Leadership & Talent Development
- People Management: Lead, mentor, and foster the professional growth of the project management and technical execution teams.
Requirements
• Must-Have Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Project Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in IT Project Management, Data Analytics management, or equivalent technology delivery roles.
- Technical Acumen: * Deep understanding of Big Data system architecture, Machine Learning (ML) models, data processing pipelines, and MLOps tools.
- Mastery of modern project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall).
- Core Competencies: Strong team leadership capabilities, strategic decision-making skills, and a proven track record of managing multiple parallel projects smoothly.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, cross-functional collaboration, advanced problem-solving skills, and a highly strategic mindset.
- Language Proficiency: Professional working proficiency in English (capable of reading complex technical documentation and drafting executive reports).
• Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications
- Professional Certifications: Holding international certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, AWS/Azure AI Engineer, or Data Science Professional is considered a major advantage.
- Domain Expertise: Direct experience in implementing and deploying AI/ML or Advanced Data Analytics initiatives.
- Product Mindset: Prior experience in Product Management or driving product-led tech initiatives.
- Enablement: Strong capability in coaching/training and building internal frameworks or SOPs specifically for AI projects.
- Industry Connection: Possessing an established network within the AI, Data, and Tech communities.
