Role SummaryRivian's Facilities Technology team is seeking a Product Manager to support the continued development of FacilitiesOS, the intelligent operating system to manage and report on Rivian's Facilities portfolio, including construction projects, real estate assets, and operational programs globally.
This role spans product development, system documentation, and applied AI — partnering with engineering, data, and operations teams to drive requirements, maintain integration documentation, and accelerate feature delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong product fundamentals, a systems-thinking mindset, and hands-on experience with modern development tools.
Responsibilities- Own the creation and maintenance of detailed product documentation, including epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Jira.
- Develop and maintain integration flow documentation across internal systems and third-party platforms.
- Translate product requirements from stakeholders and leadership into clear, actionable specs for engineering teams.
- Leverage modern AI tools to accelerate the end-to-end documentation workflow — from PRD through epic, story, QA, deployment, and launch.
- Partner with engineering and data teams to support the development of intelligent features, workflows, and system integrations.
- Contribute to the buildout of Facilities knowledge infrastructure, including documentation of data flows, agent workflows, and system connectivity.
- Use AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini, Google Apps Script) to prototype and accelerate delivery of product features.
- Support roadmap planning, sprint management, and cross-functional coordination alongside product leadership.
- Identify and surface gaps between documented requirements and real-world usage, and propose solutions.
Qualifications- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager with demonstrated ownership across the full product development lifecycle (0 → 1 experience required).
- Strong knowledge of system and integration documentation practices — able to write clear specs, map data flows, and structure epics for engineering consumption.
- Proficient in Jira for backlog management, ticket creation, and sprint tracking.
- Hands-on experience with modern AI coding tools and LLMs, including Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini, Google Apps Script, Devin, or equivalent. Active use in prior work is expected.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to write clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficient with standard collaboration tools including Slack, Google Drive, and Zoom.
- Bachelor's degree in Product Management or a related field; OR equivalent practical, hands-on experience in lieu of a degree.
- Familiarity with large-scale construction, real estate, or capital programs
- Experience with deploying low/no code applications or features
- Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) frameworks and multi-agent architectures
- Familiarity with UI/UX and the latest AI design tools like Figma Agents and Claude Design
