The Tesla Energy Supercharger Service Engineering team is responsible for the ongoing success of Tesla’s class leading Supercharger Network. We’re looking for a driven, motivated and collaborative applicant to join our international team to help accelerate the world's transition to sustainable transport. As part of the team, you will be enabled to work across the organization to solve problems and ensure the success of our products. Working alongside the Industrial Energy, Residential Energy and Solar Product and Service Engineering teams you’ll leverage cutting edge data and analytics to ensure the best customer experience and fleet availability.

What You'll Do
Drive cross-functional efforts and initiatives to implement fleet improvements with the manufacturing, design, field service, technical support teamsWork with the wider engineering and manufacturing teams to drive design and manufacturing product improvements in both existing and future productsWork with field service and technical support teams to create documentation and training to support field commissioning, service actions, and to ensure consistent and stable global service operationsUtilize remote data analysis, fleet analytics and first principles insights to solve problems with some lab work and onsite investigations as neededTroubleshoot and root cause hardware, software and firmware issues of the global Supercharger network
What You'll Bring
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experienceMinimum 2 years experience as a development, diagnostic or field support engineerExperience with product engineering, reliability engineering, failure analysis, systems test engineering, or product quality engineeringExperience using SQL, Linux based operating systems, Python, and C/C++ or equivalentStrong engineering fundamentals and intuition, applied to firmware/software/hardware of connected systemsStrong ability to work and communicate effectively with external stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem solving skills with hands on experience debugging complex systemsDemonstrated data analytics and analysisAble to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical diagramsExperience with charging standards is a plus

Expected Compensation
$100,000 - $228,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
