We are looking for a Trade Compliance Manager for Europe to ensure our import, export, customs, sanctions and export-control activities are compliant, efficient and business-enabling.
You will be the key point of contact for trade compliance across Europe, supporting Italy as the primary location and providing coverage for other EU and non-EU countries, including the Netherlands, Switzerland, the UK and Norway.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead trade compliance for Europe, acting as the main interface with local management, authorities and global trade teams
- Ensure compliance with customs, sanctions, export control, classification, valuation and country-of-origin requirements
- Manage export license processes and SAP GTS block releases, ensuring proper governance and segregation of duties
- Partner with Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, IS and local business teams to embed compliance into daily operations
- Ensure proper governance for product classification (conducted by dedicated PCE), trade master data, supplier qualifications, use of SAP GTS and related trade systems
- Monitor trade compliance risks, run internal reviews and drive corrective actions
- Manage trade records, authorisations, permits and audit readiness
- Build trade compliance awareness through training, guidance and regular communication
- Drive the development of the local Trade Compliance network, including Local Business Line TCOs
Your Background
- Degree in Business, Logistics, Foreign Trade or a related field
- 5+ years of customs and trade compliance experience in a multinational environment, ideally in an industrial one
- Strong knowledge of export control, customs regulations and end-to-end supply chain processes
- Hands-on experience with trade compliance systems, preferably SAP GTS
- Seniority and confidence to advise management and engage with authorities
- Strong ownership, business mindset and ability to operate in a matrix organisation
- Clear communication skills in English and the relevant local language
- Ability to train, influence and guide business teams on trade compliance topics
- Knowledge of power electronics, software or related technologies
- Experience supporting fast-growing or transforming organisations

- Minimum annual gross salary: 45.000,00 €
- Variable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus or Individual Variable Pay
