Role SummaryAbout the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for the next phase of Rivian’s Service business.
This role sits at the intersection of service operations, finance, and technology. You will be responsible for strengthening the foundations of our service organization today while helping shape how Rivian activates the business of service over time. That means building the systems, workflows, and product capabilities that allow service to scale operationally, improve the customer experience, and increasingly operate as a strategic revenue driver for the company.
You will partner closely with Service, Finance, Engineering, Design, and Operations to identify where process, tooling, data, and business model gaps are limiting scale. From there, you will define the roadmap, drive execution, and ensure we are building the right operational and commercial foundations now so the organization can support more sophisticated service offerings in the future.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Support the definition and execution of the product roadmap for capabilities that help Rivian’s Service business scale, balancing immediate operational needs with longer-term business opportunities.
- Build a strong understanding of Rivian’s service operations by learning frontline workflows, system constraints, and areas of friction across the service journey.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and prioritize foundational improvements across workflows, systems integrations, data visibility, operational tooling, and service processes.
- Translate user, operational, and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and delivery plans for engineering and design teams.
- Own features and initiatives through the product lifecycle, from discovery and definition through launch, iteration, and measurement.
- Help improve the internal tools and platform capabilities used by technicians, advisors, and service operations teams to reduce manual work and improve day-to-day efficiency.
- Define success metrics and use data to assess product performance across operational efficiency, service throughput, customer experience, and business impact.
- Work closely with Service, Engineering, Design, Finance, and adjacent operational stakeholders to align on priorities, navigate tradeoffs, and keep work moving forward.
- Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders and partners across the organization.

- 2-5 years product management or operations or consulting experience with strong analytical skills and operational mindset
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration abilities with proven track record translating technical concepts for service teams and operational needs for engineers

- Strong experience working on products that sit at the intersection of software, operations, and business performance.
- Strong understanding of how systems, workflows, and data models support operational scale.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with financial, operational, and product data to inform prioritization and measure outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders and build alignment across competing priorities.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with Engineering, Design, Operations, Finance, partners.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment and adapting quickly as the business evolves.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in service operations, after sales, field operations, or other service-oriented business models.
- Experience partnering closely with finance or commercial strategy teams.
- Experience with CRM, ERP, service management systems, or other enterprise platforms that power operational workflows.
- Familiarity with automotive, retail service, or other operationally complex environments.
- Experience using AI/ML or automation to improve operational efficiency, decision-making, or service workflows.
