Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Service Technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing medium-heavy duty trucks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge of truck systems and a proven capability in effective problem-solving and repair. ASE certification is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosis:
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Interpret technical schematics and diagnostic results to determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Perform thorough system evaluations to identify root causes of malfunctions.
- Repair and Maintenance:
- Execute precise repairs on all truck systems including powertrains, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and services.
- Verify repair quality through comprehensive testing and validation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in medium-heavy duty truck repair.
- Demonstrated expertise in electrical/electronic system diagnostics.
- Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting.
- Experience with modern diagnostic equipment and software.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various physical positions.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASE Certifications.
- Familiarity with fleet maintenance operations.
