Role Overview
EV.Careers is partnering with an innovative advanced manufacturing organization to identify a Vice President of Manufacturing Quality. This executive leadership role will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide production quality systems supporting large-scale manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in operational quality, supplier performance, manufacturing excellence, and organizational leadership within a complex industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing quality organization across manufacturing operations, supplier quality, and continuous improvement functions.
- Establish enterprise quality strategies, performance metrics, and operational standards aligned with business objectives.
- Drive structured problem-solving initiatives focused on defect reduction, process stability, and operational efficiency.
- Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to support production readiness and ongoing operational performance.
- Oversee supplier quality performance and corrective action processes across a global supply network.
- Implement scalable quality systems, reporting tools, and governance processes that support long-term operational growth.
- Support customer satisfaction initiatives through quality performance monitoring and continuous improvement programs.
- Develop talent pipelines, leadership capabilities, and organizational processes that foster accountability and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing quality leadership within a complex industrial or automotive environment.
- Executive-level leadership experience overseeing large, multi-functional quality organizations.
- Strong expertise in supplier quality, operational excellence, and quality systems implementation.
- Demonstrated success supporting large-scale manufacturing launches, expansions, or operational transformations.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and financial decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Operations, Quality, or a related discipline.
- Experience in advanced manufacturing, mobility, battery, or transportation industries.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or modern quality management methodologies.
- Experience supporting high-growth manufacturing organizations.
