The Logistics & Supply Chain Manager (CIS Markets) is responsible for leading end-to-end aftersales parts logistics operations across the region, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and scalable warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
The role drives operational performance through strong KPI control, vendor management, and data-driven improvements, while acting as the key interface between headquarters, regional teams, and local partners to support network expansion and high service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and managing end-to-end aftersales parts logistics operations across CIS markets, including warehousing, inventory management, import clearance, and inbound/outbound transportation
- Apply strong knowledge of supply chain, distribution, and business management principles to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers across the region
- Manage relationships with logistics providers and suppliers, ensuring agreed service levels through implementation and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Identify gaps and build continuous improvement and development plans to enhance operational performance
- Act as a key liaison between OEM, regional headquarters, and local stakeholders including distributors, dealers, and third-party logistics providers
- Support the setup, optimization, and ongoing management of service center parts operations across CIS markets
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline logistics processes, improve efficiency, and reduce operational costs
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, service levels, and financial targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Perform data analysis and reporting to identify operational issues, risks, and opportunities for process improvements
- Lead, coach, and develop team members, ensuring proper training and performance management
- Prepare, manage, and control logistics budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proficient in Russian and English
- Solid experience in import processes to Kazakhstan and other CIS countries
- Strong knowledge of spare parts supply chain management, including inbound, storage, and outbound distribution
- Experience working with WMS and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for inventory control and order management
- Experience coordinating with 3PL providers and managing logistics performance (KPIs, SLAs, cost optimization)
- Understanding of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and compliance requirements in CIS countries
- Experience handling automotive spare parts, including critical components and high-value items
- Knowledge of reverse logistics processes (returns, repairs, scrapping, and disposal)
- Strong coordination skills with cross-functional teams (procurement, aftersales, service centers)
- Ability to manage urgent shipments and ensure timely delivery to dealers and service centers
- Experience in supplier and vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring
- Strong analytical skills for reporting, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience in setting up new logistics operations or expanding into new markets
