What To Expect
We are seeking an energetic, team-oriented people-person to be responsible for the performance of incoming inspection and metrology technicians on shift. The supervisor will manage a team of technicians to ensure adherence to incoming inspection plan on critical to quality parts. This individual will be responsible for incoming inspection plan assurance related metrics for their shift. He/she will performance manage their team to generate the highest value from every employee while maintaining a high level of technical ability.
What You'll Do
Guide and coordinate Technicians on shift, taking primary ownership for their training and ability to maintain conformance to quality procedures and specificationsInteract with the PC team members and Quality Engineering to allow for the proper flow of critical to quality parts and sampling upon arrival at warehouseProvide day to day support on quality concerns escalating findings to Quality Engineering for SCAR creation and develop and implement short/long term countermeasure to quality problems while maintaining operation efficiencyAdhere to strict 5S standards and maintain cleanliness in the work areaObserve all safety policies during the execution of required tasksWork from schematics, diagrams, layouts, defined plans, CAD drawings and written/verbal instructionsProvide coaching and training to technicians define goals and performance metrics
