Position Context
- Participate to the creation of the VINFAST Vehicle institute, specifically the Interior engineering department
- Strong focus on mid to long term business and product plans
- Work in a Start-up environment at quick pace with quick turnaround and decisions
Position Responsibilities:
- Working in a team environment and possibly with external contractors and suppliers to design or modify vehicle parts
- Provide technical guidance to top management for strategic decisions
- Report to top management
- Implement best practice engineering methods
- Oversee day to day business activities
- Conduct performance reviews
Requirements
Position Requirements
- 7+ years experience in automotive or related industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical Engineering).
- Demonstrated agility in operating within matrixed organizations and teams.
- High proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Highly organized
- Effective communicator and able to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams from different areas of the company and with the key supplier.
- Motivational skills
- In-depth knowledge in Interior engineering
- Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to perform successfully in multi-national relationships.
- Demonstrate a high degree of resilience and ability to deal with high pressure situations using a logical data driven approach.
- Be accountable for delivery and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
