The Material Flow Process Engineer will support the various projects, operations, and sustainment of our processes within the Material Flow department. This role will lead a team of Process Technicians to troubleshoot and optimize our Material Flow sites. This role will work closely with Material Flow leaders in operations to set and meet operational goals. Responsibilities include participating in root cause analysis with cross-functional teams, identifying potential safety hazards and implementing solutions, daily analysis and reporting of Material Flow data using Oracle WMS, Excel, Tableau, or other Microsoft Office programs, leading a team of Process Technicians including managing workload, timesheets, and professional development, troubleshooting issues within Material Flow systems and layouts, managing workload positively and proactively helping co-workers, improving Material Flow’s effectiveness and efficiency by analyzing data and implementing solutions, and leading the Space Planning operations for all BMC1’s buildings and tenants. Desired qualifications include proficiency with Warehouse systems and MS suite, ability to work independently, a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar, 1-3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain, or Manufacturing, leadership experience a plus, strong analytical skills, ability to adapt to fluctuating priorities, experience with data analysis, work instruction creation, and time & motion studies, and a passion for sustainability and the Redwood Mission. Physical requirements include ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone, and maintain regular attendance. Working conditions include office or outdoors environment, exposure to loud noise and extreme heat/cold, and essential physical requirements such as climbing, standing, stooping, or typing. The position is full-time with compensation commensurate with experience. Some travel required between project sites.
