Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 to create a circular supply chain for electric vehicles and clean energy products, making them more sustainable and driving down the cost for batteries. We're doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain.
Supply Chain Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to start a supply chain and operations career with a strong emphasis on process support, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. You'll play a key role in helping the team manage day-to-day operational tasks and support ongoing supply chain initiatives.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Support end-to-end supply chain processes through tracking, documentation, and coordination across teams.
- Collaborate with internal partners and vendors to ensure the timely execution of operational activities.
- Maintain accuracy in system records and documentation related to materials and supplier transactions.
- Assist in monitoring spend and vendor performance using reports and analytics.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve issues related to order tracking, documentation, and invoice discrepancies.
- Participate in process improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting improvements.
- Support ad hoc reporting and data analysis to guide strategic planning and performance reviews.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets (Excel proficiency preferred).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic supply chain environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Internship or coursework experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations.
- A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!
The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
