What To Expect
Program Managers within the Autopilot Hardware team work side by side with cross-functional teams to support the development of our vehicle hardware. Teams include design (electrical, mechanical & firmware), supply chain and manufacturing, to name a few. They will lead complex programs with limited up front guidance. The successful candidate for this position must have a broad background in engineering design and experience with program management. Must be a self-starter and able to figure out how to do things.
What You'll Do
Ensure program goals, scope, and requirements are clearly defined by stakeholders, documented, and approved by stakeholdersCreate program roadmaps and detailed timeline outlining milestones, critical paths, and deliverablesLead cross-functional teams to ensure timely program delivery through effective collaborationEnsure team efforts align with project goals and scope, increasing personnel potential by eliminating low-value or non-contributory tasksManage scope and schedule changes to minimize impact on overall objectivesManage and track engineering sample demand and supply, coordinating with the supply chain and others to meet engineering needsMaintain open communication with all stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are understood and managedMonitor program progress and provide regular updates on status, including key performance metrics, challenges, and escalationsTrack and manage potential risks with mitigation and contingency plans to minimize program impact
What You'll Bring
Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience5+ years experience in product development, ideally with product shipping experience in medium-to-high volume industryAble to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail

Expected Compensation
$88,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
