Responsibilities include leading engineering initiatives through all development stages, coordinating across multiple teams including engineering, supply chain, vehicle programs, manufacturing, and operations leadership to ensure successful project execution.
What You'll Do
Manage cross-functional programs from end-to-end, covering various areas of thermal engineering while coordinating with manufacturing, production, design, test, and firmware teamsFacilitate technical deep-dives with engineering teams, cost analysis with global supply managers, and assembly/service evaluations with manufacturing and service engineersApply critical thinking to make data-driven decisions that advance key technologies aligned with Tesla’s missionDefine and drive schedules for new project launches, technology development milestones, and sustaining programs to ensure on-time deliveryContinuously improve processes and systems to enhance precision and dependability while maintaining Tesla’s signature agilityOversee documentation to track project status and issues, ensuring timely completionLead teams with confidence through rapid development cycles, evolving requirements, and uncertainty
What You'll Bring
Degree in relevant Engineering discipline, or equivalent experienceMinimum of 2 years of program or project management experience in cross-functional programs with an engineering focus and manufacturing operations exposureExperience in fast-paced environments with end-to-end product deployment from concept through development to successful launchAbility to operate with limited resources, work independently, meet tight deadlines, and act with urgencyProven experience in building and managing effective program management tools and processesStrong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills for working in highly cross-functional settingsExceptional organizational and delegation skills with the ability to own the product roadmap

Expected Compensation
$88,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
