Position OverviewWe are looking for a highly motivated Business Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is heavy client facing and will play a pivotal part in driving operational excellence across departments while also supporting our strategic growth initiatives. In addition to core operations responsibilities, this role will work closely with leadership on business development, data analysis, and sales enablement to scale our services and improve efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Engagement & Execution
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of day-to-day operations across supply chain, production, and logistics.
- Proactively understand client needs, expectations, and timelines to align internal planning and resource allocation accordingly.
- Coordinate shipment tracking, delivery schedules, and inventory reconciliation, communicating updates and resolving issues promptly with clients and partners.
Business Development & Client Growth
- Support business development by identifying new opportunities through market research, competitive analysis, and client feedback.
- Assist in the creation of compelling pitch decks, pricing proposals, and client-facing presentations tailored to specific needs and value drivers.
- Track the BD pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on leads, quotes, and negotiations, maintaining strong client relationships throughout the sales cycle.
- Participate in client calls and meetings to gather insights, build trust, and help close deals.
Cost & Margin Optimization
- Support pricing discussions and cost negotiations with vendors and clients, ensuring competitive pricing while protecting company margins.
- Analyze sales, shipment, and operational data to provide insight into profitability, performance gaps, and client-specific trends.
- Collaborate with finance and sourcing teams to develop pricing strategies and proposals that align with business goals.
Process Improvement & Reporting
- Collect and translate client feedback into actionable process improvements across internal operations.
- Assist in digitizing and automating client communication workflows and operational tasks to improve responsiveness and efficiency.
- Prepare regular dashboards and reports for stakeholders, including margin tracking, lead times, and shipment KPIs, with a client-centered lens.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in OEM/consumer electronics industry preferred in roles of business operations, business associate.
- Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (bilingual is a plus, if international coordination is required).
- 25% Travel to Asia
