What To Expect
The Vehicle Attributes Team is responsible for leading all aspects of the driving experience related to Vehicle Dynamics and NVH on all current and future Tesla vehicle products. Our team collaborates with cross-functional partners such as Firmware, Design Engineering, and Chassis Controls to deliver the best-in-class ride, steering, handling, and braking attributes for Tesla.
An Attributes Program Manager is responsible for organization, technical resolution, manufacturing and commercial alignment, and program scheduling of all vehicle attributes development in support of current and future vehicle programs across Vehicle Dynamics, Modelling, and NVH.
What You'll Do
Lead maintenance of program schedules in coordination with cross-functional technical (program, design, development, integration, etc), manufacturing and commercial teams as necessaryManage test development plan together with team Project leads for both Vehicle Dynamics and NVH to assist in scheduling of tests, vehicles, outside facilities, resources and other needs of the teamManage attribute health and associated budgets for each platform and represent the team’s interests in cross-functional meetingsServe as the Attributes point of contact between commodity engineering and vehicle level engineering program managers to align development plans with key program and hardware release milestonesSupport vehicle fleet management and coordinate with Workshop Managers to ensure vehicle updates are performed in a timely manner according to development schedule milestonesCoordinate efficiencies in engineering development, test, and validation schedules on a risk-based approach across all attribute activities for proving grounds, test sites, travels, and vehicle reworksDevelop methodologies, engineering tools, project and file organizational methods that can be implemented to improve efficiencies within the team
What You'll Bring
A degree preferred, technical degrees related also acceptable5+ years of experience in supply chain or program management with an emphasis on automotiveHands-on experience in vehicle systems or other vehicle related interestsExperience with full product cycles from prototype to productionWorking knowledge of CATIA and ENOVIA PLM system or the likeWorking knowledge of program management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, ConfluencePassion for sustainable energy and automotive preferred

Expected Compensation
$88,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
