BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for
“dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a
Shop Floor Systems Developer. The
Shop Floor Systems Developer would be responsible for converting one of our main applications from VB6 to C# using AI tools and Visual Studio.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with our main developer of our VB6 applications
- Work with the supplier of the AI conversion tool
- Fix the code after the conversion
- Read and understand VB6 code
- Read, develop, fix C# code
- Update any 3rd party tools that may be required to make the application compile
- Document the code
- Test the application
What We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or be a graduate from an accredited college
- GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date
- Experience in legacy application migration from one programming language to another.
