What To Expect
Global Supply Manager (GSM) who is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of demand planning, engineering and development collaboration, and experience in managing complex supply chains. The GSM will work to develop supply chains of critical minerals in the Anode space. In this role the GSM will be responsible for securing battery raw materials and involved in product development all the way from R&D to production, while balancing cost, quality standards, global supply and demand, as well as geopolitical risks.

What You'll Do
Negotiate commercial agreements with supply chain partners. For eg GTC, PPA, License agreements, MTA, etc.Manage supplier relationships to get the best deals for the companyConduct market analysis to identify new suppliers and partnerships opportunitiesLead large-scale supplier investment projects from idea to implementationLead make v/s buy investigations,develop and execute long term sourcing strategies based on these analysisOwner of RFI's, RFP's and RFQ's - ensuring all commercial terms are agreed and documentedLead data driven commercial discussions with suppliers and prepare concise summaries to support commercial discussionsDevelop and utilize cost models to define should price and negotiate price for sourcing and cost reduction Analyze current market conditions, technology roadmaps, and identify supply/demand challenges & opportunities Evaluate current spend and suppliers, and develop sourcing alternatives
What You'll Bring
Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or equivalent experience and exceptional ability5+ years of work experience in Engineering, Supply chain Management, or Management Consulting roleAbility to make decisions based on limited informationPrior experience with Batteries, Battery Materials preferredDedication to the Tesla mission of accelerating the transition to renewable energyAbility to thrive in a fast paced, highly dynamic environmentExcellent team building skills in dealing with suppliers, peers, and other functional teamsStrong writing ability and an ability to explain complex issues in a concise and plain mannerWillingness to travel

Expected Compensation
$82,800 - $232,920/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
