Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
5–10+ years of experience in Industry Analysis, Benchmarking, Innovation, Market Research, or Product Planning—ideally in the automotive industry.
• Automotive experience may include: vehicle evaluation, component testing or teardown, competitive intelligence, program management, customer research, forecasting, strategic planning, quality, or vendor management.
• Experience in data analysis. Especially valuable: IQS, NVCS, AutoKnowledge, AutoSource, AutoPacific, mTab, and secondary research.
• Expert-level PowerPoint skills; proficient in Excel including pivot tables.
• Proven communication and presentation skills, including report development and coordination of cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to excel in both creative and analytical work.
• Able to combine data, experience, judgment, and intuition to deliver insights and a compelling story.
• Resilient, flexible, and able to adapt to rapidly changing business needs.
• Passion for discovery and learning; driven by curiosity and a desire to go beyond the obvious.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including identifying root causes and proposing solutions.
• Comfortable with ambiguity; skilled at defining and managing scope, timing, and resources.
