We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas.
Job Summary: The Tool Install Project Coordinator will support the planning and coordination of tool installation projects critical to high-tech manufacturing facility operations. Working closely with Construction, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams, this role will help ensure successful execution of project schedules, documentation, and logistics for tool install activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset to help drive schedule alignment, facilitate cross-team communication, and maintain project documentation in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties
Project Coordination & Planning
- Serve as a key liaison between EPC, Facilities, Manufacturing, and Commissioning teams to coordinate tool install readiness activities
- Assist in the development and tracking of project logistics including system sequencing, laydown areas, crane planning, and tool delivery scheduling
- Coordinate with rigging and millwright service providers when vendor support is not included
Design & Technical Support
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to support design integration and tool requirement validation
- Review tool install design documentation for clarity, completeness, and utility connection accuracy
Procurement & Budget Support
- Help prepare documentation for work packages and Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
- Assist in collecting and reviewing contractor bids for scope alignment and schedule fit
- Track and report project budget updates, scope changes, and estimate adjustments as requested by the Project Manager
Communication & Documentation
- Facilitate regular communication between internal departments, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment across all project stages
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation including schedules, installation plans, and safety procedures
- Support compliance with relevant safety standards, construction codes, and internal policies
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements
- To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees,’ wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator. A respirator fit test will be required based on functional area.

Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related technical field
- Preferred: Advanced coursework or certifications in construction or project management
Essential Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience supporting construction or tool install projects in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Familiarity with interpreting construction and tool install drawings, schedules, and scopes
- Basic knowledge of MEP systems and manufacturing facility infrastructure
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project coordination software (e.g., Procore, Smartsheet, or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-tech sectors (e.g., battery manufacturing, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, or data centers)
- Exposure to cleanroom tool install processes and logistics
- Familiarity with lean principles or Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience supporting commissioning or factory startup teams
- Exposure to BIM tools or Navisworks for coordination and clash detection
