Lucid Motors is seeking a motivated and experience Sr. Program Manager Launch Material Planning to join the Logistics team.
The role is based at Lucid’s facility in Casa Grande , AZ, directly reporting to the Material Planning Launch Manager. The Sr. Program Manager Launch Material Planning will take the lead role to coordinate the implementation of new parts introduction for Launch/new programs-models and engineering changes between NPI teams, Production team and the Material planning series team.
The Sr. Program Manager Launch Material Planning will also lead a team of Launch Material planners to ensure a smooth handover process for Launch of new parts and engineering changes based on the timeline aligned between Lucid stake holders, Material planning and Suppliers.
You Will
- Coordinates with Supply Chain, NPI, PLM, GSM, Planning, Operations, as well as Finance, Packaging Engineers, Mfg. Engineers, Marketing, Service, Sales, Programs to communicate changes effectively throughout the business segment.
- Supervise/Manages a team of Launch material planners and material master team, to coordinate and track upcoming changes for effective dates between internal stake holders and Material planning.
- Implementation of systematic updates for effectivity dates in SAP BOM based in planned timelines for engineering changes.
- Management and Planning groups to ensure that all changes and information is timely, accurate and
complete physically and systematically (SAP/BOM) to be implemented in the production line.
- Creation of logistics-SAP process and procedures and implementation of continuous improvement.
- Assist with implementation of change process for Material planning during Launch and change phase.
- Participate and evaluation of Launch processes for new models to ensure proper communication for
Lucid Leadership and material planning.
- Review Launch phases with NPI Engineering to review suppliers lead times with Material planners.
- Provides necessary information and communicate material data changes throughout the organization
in a timely manner.
- Drive timely and accurate project updates and Launch/new programs timelines, using expertise to
solve potential issues or delays, through escalation process.
- Ability to address issues and meet deadlines in high pressure, tight timeline constraints.
- Drive process improvements to meet KPI metrics.
- Proficient at organizing and running multiple timelines and efforts at a time.
- Handle other projects or assignments as needed.
- Provide strategic support to Sales Business Development and Program Management.
You Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related
- 5 years or more of related experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment for Logistics, Material planning or supply chain, with a minimum of 2 years in a lead/supervisor role, MBA a plus.
- Experience in new programs / projects launch within the automotive industry.
- ERP/SAP knowledge operations with focus on MRP. SAP knowledge preferred.
- Adaptability – must be able to be able to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability
to multi-task and provide support across a complex business infrastructure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mitigate unforeseen problems creatively and effectively.
- Exceptional ability to interface and collaborate effectively with individuals, groups, and suppliers.
